  • Flexchange?

I am a new member of II and was wondering what flexchange is?

Flexchange is the 59 day window that any size will pull what sizes are available. Also, AC for the most part will see all availability. There are a few cases where the high end resorts even in the 59 day window - like from now to ending of your exchange week is 59 days out - are not available. ?This is my understanding, maybe folks with more experience will add their views or understanding.

The flex change window is great if you can travel short notice. Usually smaller units will pull larger units in that 59 day or less window and an off season silver week will pull a higher demand in-season week in flex change.

There are some AC's in II that can not be used in the flexchange period. You need to read your AC carefully, to see what is excluded.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

I know I'll feel stupid when I hear the answer, but what's AC, and please don't say air conditioning?

Accommodation Certificate. It is usually given as a bonus for depositing a desirable week. In addition to your exchange, you can reserve another week for a fixed fee depending on the size unit you want - $199 for a studio, $249 for a 1BR and $299 for a 2BR. There are usually limitations on what you can reserve, and they will be stated in the AC.
