You do look familiar. I would have to see a photo when you were about 13 thru 17 yrs old to be sure.

Which Fame Diner? The only one I know now is on Union Tpke near St. Johns.
Fame is a block a way from the OTB. If you have your year book look for Frank S.

      Holy Sh#*

Yes I spotted you between John Sinner and Donna Sirignano.

This is too funny. I will send you my name via email tomorrow. I am not as open on the net as you are. Much more private while communicating in these public forums for security reasons.

      To be continued.

              Frank

Once in a while I do get back to the area. I still live in Queens, over near Flushing.

Definitely. My 20 year old son has a girlfriend over in Ridgewood. She lives on Palmetto. When he visits he gets off the LIE, left on 69th, to Elliot, then thru the cemetary to Fresh Pond.

He back from college now, but sometimes I take the ride with him.

Check your email I sent you a list of old names.

                Angela,

Sounds familiar. Do you remember "Elephas" on Northern Blvd in Bayside. What a blast!

Was the Monastery in Sunnyside towards LIC?

Yes.....I remember Elephas, and yes, Monastery was in Sunnyside, toward LIC. Paul, was the DJ. It was one of the first clubs that I can remember going to. I was actually in High School, the first time that I went there. Back then, they didn't proof us. Me and my girl friends always got into the clubs, even thought we were under-age.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

231, but only til the teachers' strike in first grade. Yup, Elephas was around 210th street. And wasn't that the place one of the Son of Sam's victims had just left before getting killed? I remember we were supposed to be there that night but ended up somewhere else.
