We have been infiltrated by Shills for Timeshare Relief.
Here's the proof. There is a poster by the name of HChavez who posted this message regarding Timeshare Relief on 12/27/06:
I checked his IP address and the same IP address posted this message on 12/7/06 here as Rikitikitavi
This message is clearly about Timeshare Relief and is from the same IP address as the person who claims that he is going in for his first meeting with Timeshare Relief.
In addition, check out this thread on doityourself.com: doityourself.com
In that thread, HectorChavez talks about Timeshare Relief and selling with them over a year ago and conspires with Rorinator to leave a positive impression of Timeshare Relief. My guess is they are both the same person.

So, we have indisputable proof that HChavez is a Shill for Timeshare Relief.

Timeshare Relief confusion
Hello. I'm new to the forum but saw this thread and wanted to ask a question about Timeshare Relief.
My mother is ill and my brother and I are in the process of organizing things for her and liquidating some of her assets. She's had a timeshare in Sedona, AZ for a number of years that she's enjoyed fully. My brother and I have both used it as well but over the last year or so it's become clear that it is something we are going to need to get rid of. Neither one of us have the time to invest in trying to resell and my brother has initiated a meeting with a company called Timeshare Relief to discuss transfering the title with them. He's taking the reins on this one but I can say that finding the actual company called Timeshare Relief was a bit painstaking. There are a number of people out there calling themselves by this name. Or, more accurately, when you search for Timeshare Relief you end up linking to places like "lasvegastimesharing.org" and the like. I've seen a lot of negative (and some positive) talk on Timeshare Relief and I'm just wondering - given the posers out there - if everyone is talking about the same company. We eventually found the correct company and are aware of how the process works based on internet research. I'm just curious about the negative comments and if they are in fact in relation to the company we are about to engage or if they are in relation to someone using that name?
Here's the link to who we're meeting with: http://www.timesharerelief.com/
Thanks

You my friend are THE absolute exception to the rule. While not impossible, it is highly improbable that anyone will make a profit trying to sell a timeshare. It is, for all intents and purposes, a strictly personal investment and one that requires a great deal of investigation to do well. I speak from experience. I recently rid myself of a poorly researched timeshare I purchased several years ago with the aforementioned Timeshare Relief. As suggested by other posters, do your research in advance before you commit. While there are definitely some real benefits to owning the right timeshare more often than not there are far more hassles, particularly financial ones. Tread into this area cautiously. It took me months to find Timeshare Relief and I paid for every one of them before I did.

Timeshare Relief
Saw your post entirely by accident. I was looking for feedback on the iRobot Dirt Dog and stumbled across your question.
I got rid of a timeshare about a year ago with Timeshare Relief. They're above board. You pay a fee based on the value (or lackthereof) of your timeshare and they take over the title. I don't know where your property is or what you're facing but I was in way over my head on a bad timeshare investment and these guys saved the day.
