at a hotel/motel or when they spoke with an II/ RCI Vacation Guide

One of the first things that a person does to book/reserve
a hotel or a timeshare (vacation) is to place a phone call
I prefer to use the internet to book my units
however, as a last resort I have to make the call
What are your opinions and tips for
Making that Important Phone Call
To Reservations & Vacation Guides
Sample Questions:
Was the phone answered with (3) rings or less?
If not, was the hold time less than one minute?
Was the employee friendly and courteous?
Did the employee ask specific questions and listen to your needs?
Did they offer to book your reservation at the time of the call?
Did they explain the cancellation (refund) policy?
Did the employee confirm the date and time of your reservation?
Where you asked if you needed directions to the hotel/timeshare?
Did the employee thank you and wish you a good day?
II/RCI
Did the employee (guide) try to get you to renew your membership?
How would rate Hotel/Exchange Companies Telephone Customer Service?
