How do you know if your unit qualifies for an AC. Do you have to call II or does it show up when you deposit?

It either shows up online *before* you deposit or you can also get a snail mailing asking you to deposit your week which will entitle you to an AC. You can call to ask them if your week generally qualifies. Even some red weeks do not get ACs...it all has to do with supply and demand in various regions as well as resort quality.
P.S. Studio size never gets an AC."Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed and those who are cold and are not clothed."

It is strange, but there appears to be NO real rhyme or reason for giving out these AC's .
I own in SXM, Pelican, during hurricane season (June-Nov), and yet I am offered an AC for my units (never take them up on it). And, SXM is so overwhelmed/overpopulated with timeshares. NOTE, the AC is always for the entire 2 bd units (lockouts), and not my 1 bd unit.hope this info helps,

This will happen before you confirm that you want to deposit the unit.Bill

II usually picks what it believes are high demand weeks at high demand resorts to give out ACs. I remember once when Fletch got a list from them as to which weeks at the Royals got ACs. You also should check what the restrictions and costs are beforehand, so you don't end up with something you really don't want to use.
