With the costs of maintenance fees increasing every year do you think the resorts would be open to the idea of twice a year payments ? You know, like they do real estate taxes ! It would be eaiser for people to meet the costs. People would not get hit so hard at Christmas ( Tax time just around the corner ) How about auto check deductions from an account each month? Maybe resorts could come up with a slight discount for auto pays. I'm just trying to come up with ideas to help owners pay the fees so it won't be so hard all at once. Some fees are quite high.

One of my resorts gives me the option to pay quarterly. I can deposit that week even if I haven't paid the entire annual fee as long as I am current.
I have no idea when my yearly MFs are due for the other 2 as I have always pre-paid them for early spacebank deposits. But the bills usually arrive at the end of third quarter.
One of those charges me $25 if I use a credit card but no add'l fee if I mail them a check.Lawren

There are several resorts which have multiple partial payments for fees, some as often as monthly. I suppose it would be an advantage for the resort as well, giving them better cash flow. The Royals bill annually, but the payment due date is 60 days prior to the interval- giving them cash flow all year.

Hmmmm, the MF's at my resorts are all due in full, on Jan 1.....
I would love to be able to pay them monthly, or even bi-annually. It would make life so much easier.Angela
If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Monthly / Quarterly / Half Yearly payments would smooth their cashflow, but would they want to take the hit on delayed payment in the first year? Conversely, would owners want to make payments early to ensure the full year had been paid by the original due date? Clearly something would have to give initially.
As the m/f for my resort becomes due in July it isn't as much of a problem as for those that fall in January.
