Pat is my hero!!!!! I almost wept with joy when I saw her PM. This transaction has really been stressing me out.

I told my DH how you had found it, Pat, and he goes, "Oh...were you worried? You said it would take about three months. I just thought it would turn up soon." Good thing someone is calm around here.

So what's the cache' with Barnstable? Is it a timeshare resort that allows folks to bring their horses along?

And people complain about DOGS - could you imagine Horses in the rooms ?

Update on my purchase! I called the seller today and said, "I see on the Barnstable County website that the deed was recorded on March 8. How are things going?"

They said the paperwork went to the resort on March 21 and they expect to get everything back next week. I said, "Should I call the resort?" and they said, "Well, you don't have to...but it does tend to move things along." So I'll do that tomorrow. Can't take any more excitement today!
