Is there way you can do Trial of Timeshare?

I have seen some RCI things but is that good deal?
I want to have something for II.

Or is it best to buy cheap Timeshare and try it and sell it for cheap price again?

There are plenty of Promos out there for a 3 night stay if you take a tour.

Option #2 sounds good. Some timeshares are free and could be sold for the same price you paid. There are some listed here on this site.

If it's inexpensive, there's probably a good reason for that. Cheap may mean a bad resort. Or it may mean that someone is tired of it and feels they've gotten their money's worth out of it - or they just don't want the maintenance fees anymore.

Before you buy something, look at the reviews for the place. Also consider if you'd be happy using it every year if you can't rent or exchange it. Do your research before you jump.

Be careful of buying something cheap. You may have a problem getting rid of it if you decide to sell. Your other option might be to rent points or weeks from a current timeshare owner. At least you would get a feel for the experience without the upfront cost and annual maintenance fees.

If you want to stay in a timeshare unit, and never have before, try renting one---you can find plenty of ads in places like redweek, ebay, etc.

Be careful: if you are like most of us, you'll never want to stay in a hotel room again.

Trading Places International is an exchange company that also manages several timeshares. If you go to their website you will see an offer they have for a trial timeshare ownership. It esentially costs the same as the maintenance fees but it's temporarily yours.http://www.tradingplaces.com/resale/default.asp

When we went on a tour for a Fairfield timeshare, they offered us a temporary membership good for 2 years. It meant we would have enough points to trade for a couple of Vacations in their system and try it out before actually buying. We said no but you might want to check it out.

Bluegreen has a 'sampler' package of one-time points, with restrictions, of course, but I believe they credit sampler equity towards an ownership.

Beware the promos, as you are normally staying in a hotel, NOT the actual timeshare.

Renting is really the best way to sample without the time or dollar committment.

My sister got us an "Extra Vacation" through RCI. It was our second experience, actually because we joined my sister and her husband at a place in Orlando for a week.
