Resort Directory | Tanglwood Resort
Just an hour's drive from Scranton and two hours from Newark, Tanglwood Resort is ideally situated for mountain or lakeside vacations. The clusters of condominiums offer a variety of settings, views, and amenities. Although the locations may vary (golf, lake, or mountaintop villas), each one- or two-bedroom condominium is complete with full kitchen, living room, dining room, one or two baths, and balconies. Some also have fireplaces or whirlpool tubs. The indoor and outdoor pools are not on the same site. Guests may need to drive to some amenities.
Looks like a nice resort.
I am sure TPI would take - what do you think Lawren?

The Good the bad and the ugly.
I was not going to post this but I think I should.
I stayed here for MLK weekend about 3-4 years back. When we arrived at Friday night it was -4 F. The room was nice , large and up to date expect for one little thing. The heater did not work. It turned out that half of the units that we were by us all broke down. They had some new units going in the next morning but they ran out and we did not get one. There was a small wall emergency heater which did keep the room temps above 50 and with the fireplace we got it up to over 60.
Now the good
There is a huge lake, there that you can boat, Fish or ice Skate in the winter. The Ski trails are very good according to my Son. I no longer ski. Right next to the Villas where we staying was the Snow Tubing which was a lot of fun. There are plenty of fast food and nice restaurants right near by. Would I go here again with my family. I think I would more so knowing that they are fixing it up. In fact I would take this if I did not have so many weeks myself.Timeshareforums Shirts and Mugs on sale now! http://www.cafepress.com/ts4ms

Btw Frank, what goes around comes around, I guess. I gave you a free Cozumel week a couple years ago, and now I'm about to get a free week. I gave away a Foxrun week recently as well, so I'm paring down my fixed weeks that I owned just to trade. My new philosophy is to own where I want to stay...so owning in PA at Tanglewood is a good fit for me."Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed and those who are cold and are not clothed."

What do you think Frank?

We already do have that. The Freebies forum. I was going to put this thread there in a day or two if it did not get taken.Timeshareforums Shirts and Mugs on sale now! http://www.cafepress.com/ts4ms

Originally posted by JudySFrank, Madge told me on TUG that VRI priority worked only for the same color seasona nd downwards. In other words, red VRI weeks would get the priority for all red VRI weeks, but white weeks would only priority for white and blue weeks, and blue weeks would only have priority for other blue weeks. Could your blue Cape Cod week see red and white weeks, or only other blues?
