Look like Bill was there before. And someone that could not get rid a Trendwest (isn't that World Mark) timeshare and has to use timeshare relief and put their (TR) youtube as is bad mouth Tug.
Timeshare Relief is doing this, you can bet. Denise P. is probably Denise Birch that posted on TUG and was working for Timeshare Relief. They are scum and THEY are the ones making money when people are unhappy about their timeshare experiences.
It could be another postcard company that started this particular post, but the hope these companies have is that people will see all this negative stuff about timeshare and seek out RELIEF. I cannot believe they are everywhere on the internet. You cannot get away from them. It is disgusting.
Then I did some homework and decided they were a total scam for two people -- developers and those who really learned how to work the system, aka most of the population here and on TUG. At that point, I decided to buy resale and become part of the party.
My parents (in their upper 70's) signed over a week of their timeshare to Timeshare Relief, LLC recently during one of the seminars (and paid about $3000 to boot). I knew that they were wanting to sell, but the decision to pay someone to take it off of their hands was very fast. Their comments make it sound like they got hooked with some hard-sell tactics--had to make a decision then, didn't want to burden their children, timeshare has no value. Is this typical of what others have experienced? What type of sales tactics and presentations does Timeshare Relief use? Are they particulary "hard-sell"?

Yes. Wastegate type high pressure. Yes.
If it's not too late you should try to get it back and save your parents some big money. Then help them sell it for little or nothing or even pay a small amount - nothing near even $1000 forget $3000+ - to "get rid of it". Maybe someday that savings will come back to you and your siblings or at least let your parents have a few more dollars now.
Does anyone have examples of Timeshare Relief hard-sell tactics? Concrete examples may help with getting their money back. Also, as far as getting their money back, what has worked for others? I'm sure there are others who have lived through this nightmare. Trying to sort out information from legitimate folks versus the schills has been a challenge.
I've been to their presentations, they gave me my gas card before I ever entered the door. There was no Westgate or Mass-of-Nothing Hard Sell. Just a play on those who want to get rid of their timeshare telling them that it's an ongoing drain because of MFs and telling tall tales about tax deductions.
... not enough time for all the timeshares ®

When I use the link I find an article with 10 points that would be pretty accurate to an objective person. What am I missing?
