  • Confused re: Accommodation Certificates

Just got off the phone with an II guide who tried to explain to me how you get an AC into your account.

Will someone please explain it to me in the simplest terms as I want to see if her version is on spot.

    Signed,

After II confirms the deposit (up to 3 days), they will list an AC in your online account along with your deposits and your TS.

      Aha ! Just as I thought !!!
The guide told me you get one when you trade into a 2 bedroom and you can only do this for the first three years of membership.
I told her that I thought you got an AC when you deposited, not when you exchanged.
      I have her name.
      Thanks.

Just deposited a Marriott week barely outside of Flexchange and the deposit confirmation noted that I would be receiving an A/C for the deposit. It showed up in my account about 3 days later.

I avoid talking to humans at II as much as possible

So most people have better luck just going through the website for exchange requests, ACs, etc.?

I find if it is a straight forward request, it is easier to go thru the website....but if it is 'specific' I call - such as 2 consecutive weeks requiring check-in days to line up or if I can only travel certain days.
