How do you like Celebrity Resorts and what are the pros and cons of them?

Bad news, stay as far away from them as you can. Everything that's bad about developers is true of Celebrity. Poor resort management, special assessments. Road tours for 'owner updates' in your hometown to cram $7000 points conversion down your throat. Poor trading power, etc, etc.

2010 - Hawaii Resort Up in the Air

Yes, I own with Celebrity, I purchased off of Ebay and was lucky that I only purchased a 5 year lease. I called to find out what the maintenance fee for 2009 would be as this is the last year I will own with them and during the conversation i was told they do not know what they are going to be doing with the Hawaii resort in 2010. It appears that their lease on the property will be up. Just a heads up to anybody who "owns" with them in Hawaii.
