I wanted to follow up on your correspondence with Rick Alm. We do appreciate your sharing your thoughts with Rick. They made a real contribution to what I thought was a good look at the timeshare scene. I was the main editor on the story and thought it did a good job of laying out the pleasures and pitfalls of this vacation option - including using the secondary markets, as you have from time to time.

I didn't have your original e-mail to Rick when I edited the story, but looking back on it now I don't see any instances in the story that misrepresented what you had to say. I'm sorry that you feel this way but, as Rick noted, we can't run everything from each interview or correspondence.

Again, I'm sorry you were disappointed on what was and wasn't included in the article, but I thank you for contributing.

    Sincerely,

    Greg Hack

Buyer beware ) I do not have time tonight (family reunion) to answer some of this guy's "errors" but I will tomorrow. HIS EMAIL ADDRESS IS ralm@kcstar.com. I would like Timeshare Forum members to make their comments in this thread and by email to this person. I will personally follow-up on this "reporters" article and do my best to get an addendum (corrections) posted by the KC Star.
I have talked with the reporter on the telephone but he had a "deadline" and could not talk with me. I wrote him an email erquesting an appointment with him to help clarify his erroneous article. I have followed up with a duplicate request and have not heard from him.

If I have not heard from him by tomorrow, I will place on this thread the copy of my letter to him perhaps start on his "rudeness" in his failure to reply. He sounded like one of those know-it-all young middle age thinkheis/wannabe spoiled brat hotshot.

Anyway, I shall continue on but I will not quit as he wrote a damaging article and it needs to be clarified. If he does not . . . well, let's put it this way, as a native of Kansas City I know a "few" people that could cause him at least to be annoyed.

I would rather he responds and learns and corrects the article. If he does, I will promote it heavily through TS2MS and TUG. If not . . . I will promote in another direction. I HAVE LEARNED - FROM THE LIBERALS - HOW TO BE OBNOXIOUS AND, FRANKLY, I ENJOY CONFRONTATION!

P.S. IT HAS RAINED HERE FOR A WEEK AND I MUST ADMIT, I FEEL A BIT PISSY!
