Is that an option in your contract? If not, and you do it, I would also do what is spelled out in the contract and send a letter with return receipt.

The best is to mail it to their offices, return receipt requested.
If you do go to their offices and do it in person, make sure you take a letter or some sort of acknowledge document for them to sign that you have rescinded in person and that they release you from any further obligation and will refund you 100% of whatever deposit you have paid.

As mentioned make certain your "twist proof" as they'll do everything they can to try to resell you and convince you to keep the week they sold you. They're not above using guilt in many situations. I agree with others that I'd mail it in certified return reciept and follow the instructions explicitly. They'll still probably try to call you and talk you out of rescinding but there's less leverage over the phone than in person. Our timeshare and other photo's at http://dougp26364.smugmug.com/
