Cypress Harbour vs Grande Vista

I'm busy looking through different resorts and was wondering at the difference in price of these 2 marriott resorts.They're both close to each other in orlando but the costs seem very different why.The only real difference seems to be that Vista allows you to lock off.New price for 2 bedroom is $15400 for CH and $20,800 GV gold season.Is there a huge difference in the quality /amenities of the resorts.Thanx

I have only stayed at Grande Vista, so I can only speak for it. It is a great resort. Others like the smaller Cypress Harbour. Cypress Harbour is an older resort doesn't have the lock off and also has fewer ammenities, so it may effect the pricing somewhat.
I would strongly suggest looking in to the resale market. I purchased a gold week at Grande Vista resale for 37.5% of Marriott's price.

Cypress Harbor is more relaxed with mature trees and less congestion.

Grande Vista is nice, but it too tall (I don't like any TS over 4 stories), and has a great restaurant and golf.

Hello Dioxide 45. Have you had any problems using your resale at Marriott? What do you lose with buying resale?.Who did you buy it from? Finally what/who did you use for the legal stuff?
