Help! How to cancel membership?

HI! As a veterav here maybe You can help me? How can I cancel my membership? They did'nt allowed me to read the contract before signing and some other "oops" mistakes with rule of conduct. Now they are telling me that I can not cancel? Any sugestions? Thank You!

Sorry for stating the obvious, but why in the world would you sign something if they wouldn't let you read it? Was someone holding a gun to your head?

It's going to be your word against theirs and that isn't going to get you far, I'm afraid, when they have your signature on the dotted line.

Hello...the first thing is to read your contract very carefully. There surely is something in there about cancelling/rescinding. I'm thinking that the time allotted to cancel is past, but you should check anyway. Beyond that, you're quite likely out of luck...you'll find if you hang around here long enough that many folks here have pretty much done the same thing, and are now trying to make the best use of their impulsive purchase. It's easy to get railroaded into something and we're all softies at one time or another. Some of these situations are costlier than others, unfortunately.
As advised above, read the "fine print" and obtain legal aid for help.
If you're still in the time limit to rescind, do it now and follow their rescinding instructions to the letter.
If you're a senior or disabled citizen, there may be a loophole for you depending on what state you live in and maybe something in the D.R. law.

Hi folks

Im a newbie here and one of the impulsive ones that purchased timeshare at Palace resorts at Mexico and now dont know what to do with it. I already checked and cannot cancel it.

When I signed up I thought it was a good deal as the resort company offered us many freebies and almost made it look like the $$ we were paying for the timeshare package is equivalent to the free gifts we received (spa credit, free weeks, RCI certs for $150/week resorts). Now with my busy work life and other commitments I realize that I dont even have time to take that many vacation and enjoy

Does anyone know about the Palace resort membership and any way of getting out of this commitment??
