We almost went a full year without wrangling with our resort over what we have and have not paid.
We pay and Spacebank 2 years ahead. In March, 2006, when we wanted to deposited Weeks 10 and 11, 2008, when I called to pay those fees we were told we were not current, even for 2006, I believe. Their computer goes back to 2002, and it was before that that they got off. I dug up everything back to 1992, I believe.
Of course I showed them my credit card records and the RCI Spacebank acknowledgements for beaucoup years back, so they could see where I was paying and Spacebanking two years ahead. Finally they concluded it would be more expensive to hand-search their records, so they just said we were up to date, and I have an email to that effect.
In March of this year I paid fees and deposited 10 and 11, 2009 without a hitch.
When I tried to do the same for week 30, 2009, a couple weeks ago, the same old problem surfaced, they saying we had not even paid 2008 yet, even though we have deposited it and used it for an exchange. The other day I got a bunch of records from them, and this morning I woke up and just said, "What the heck. The amount is only like an air fare to Florida."
Last year they conceded on two weeks so this year I am going to concede on one. As Meatloaf said, "Two outta three ain't bad."
Anyway, keep your receipts, and if you don't get one like we don't get one, use your emails as acknowledgement. Send them an email saying exactly what you are paying for and how much, and have them reply to it, agreeing.
