My daughter and son in law are in the process of being deeded a one bedroom unit at the Flagship. It's been a long process, and it's the Flagship holding up things- my SIL's parents are giving it to them, and the Flagship is just in no rush to do the paperwork. It's been going on since May.
So they're down there this week, and I went down to babysit so they could go out to dinner and some casinos. First off, parking stinks- garage for owners (three levels only), everyone else on the street.
The Flagship is 32 floors, and they were in an efficiency on the 31st floor, because they booked late and couldn't get a one bedroom. They're renovating, and haven't gotten to the 31st floor yet. Very dated, the lighting stinks, no vent fan in the bathroom. Great balcony, overlooking the inlet and the beach, with the casino's visible.
Not set up for kids. Luckily we're from south jersey, so bringing a portacrib was easy. The resort doesn't have cribs or high chairs. The balcony's don't have netting/screening/wire, just the railing.
I guess with it's proximity to the casinos, the resort is based for grownups who want to go gamble. There's a shuttle to the casinos. Nice breakfast buffet on the weekends, seems like a lot of activities set up. Indoor pool and spa on the 7th floor. Resturant with ocean views, also on the 7th floor.
Since we live so close to the resort, my daughter and son in law said they're likely to use it to trade so they can visit other states. They're already traded a week and we went to Star Island in Kissimmee- no comparison!
