I just bought a timeshare on eBay for $26 (no closing costs) and I expect it to trade fairly well based on my ownership of the same resort, different week, that trades very well in II. So, it got me wondering, what is the cheapest you have paid for a great trader that works for you?

The absolute cheapest was $950. It's a very decent trader. My absolute best trader was $995. It get's the creme de la creme as long as there is no brand preference in place because it is an independent. The legitimate object of Government is to do for a community of people whatever they need to have done but cannot do at all or cannot do so well for themselves”- Lincoln

I am confused. What exactly is the $995?
That was the price I paid for my purchase on e-bay (including closing.) Yes, I have yearly maintenence fees due each Jan. It is a deeded week so I own it until I choose to get rid of it. The week gets a bonus week at II when I choose to deposit it and it pulls all the good stuff that I'm interested in. This year I traded it for 4 Seasons Aviara. It is a very nice place so I love to use it myself, though. I often book owner bonus time for cash!
It's been awhile since I even looked at stuff for sale but I understand from several postings that there has been a lot of bargains to be had in the last year. The legitimate object of Government is to do for a community of people whatever they need to have done but cannot do at all or cannot do so well for themselves”- Lincoln

I bought my Winners Circle fixed week 52 for $900 on eBay. It will pull all but the very highest trade power weeks in RCI, and it will even catch those as soon about nine months out when the trade power needed to make the trade starts to drop.
The VEP rating is low enough that you can see a lot of highly demanded resorts that owners at more glitzy resorts are screened from ever seeing. It will trace with any exchange company, including SFX.“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”
“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”
“You shouldn't wear that body.”
