Disney in Chicago

It was kinda cool, I was walking through the mall tonight near Chicago and saw a store front that said "Disney, a new kind of vacation". So I walked in and discovered that Disney had opened it's first off site timeshare outlet. They are building a new Timeshare complex at the animal kingdom in orlando, and they built a full-sized, fully furnished, model of a two bedroom lock-off right in the mall.

I took the tour just to see what they were up to. It was somewhat exciting. It made me look forward to my own time share (first use summer 08) even more than I already am.

Of course I didn't buy anything as the units were 16k with a MF of $740. But it was still fun to walk through and hear a little about what disney is planning.

Yeah, DVC is really marketing heavily lately. I read about the Chicago sales center in some literature DVC sent ne. I didn't know they had a full-sized model there, though.

Disney seems to have several new DVC projects in the pipelines. Rumor has it that their long-awaited Anaheim, Ca resort will be announced tomorrow. (Grand Californian Villas.)
