  • Bluegreen Resorts - Credit card

I noticed on a couple of bluegreen resorts listing in RCI that they required a credit card upon check-in for deposit. I looking at giving an exchange to my daughter as a gift, she is 26 but does not have a credit card. Will they take a debit card or one of those prepaid Visa cards you get at AAA for the deposit?

loan her your card. the resort isn't interested in the $75 cash that she might put up; they want the big bucks a cc will supply if the unit really gets messed up. ---ken

I have used a debit card as a credit card with no problems at check in. I would think they would take any card that has a balance equal to the minimum required for incidentals.

They just want a deposit to cover incidentals. They take all forms of payment that I can recall. It doesn't have to be a credit card.
