  • trading value?

We are new to timeshare and have already deposited our 2008 and 2009 week.
We put a search in straight away and got a confirmed week in Tuscany for Christmas 2009 with the 2008 week.

Our second week has been deposited and we have an ongoing search with RCI to see if we can get a week either before or after the Tuscany week. We noticed that the week we deposited is not the week we own. We own a wk 2 and a week 4 has been deposited. We own at the Grandview in Las Vegas, and RCI have told me that it would not make a difference as both weeks are Red anyway, so the trading power would be the same.

I wondered if anyone knew if this is the case or should I be getting Grandview to change it? We got a return on our 2008 week within 2 days, were we just lucky?
is there any difference between week 2 and 4 when it comes to trading power?

Thank you in advance for your Help

I would expect that week 4 may be slightly better than a week 2 though neither one would be considered great traders. Being "Red" doesn't really mean very much. There are several shades of "Red".

These are comparable deposits. While they're probably not very strong traders, the week prior to Christmas in Europe is not likely to be a tough trade, IMO. So I'd think you'd be able to confirm something soon.

It is very difficult to determine from a US side what is available to you on the Aussie/European side of RCI.

There is definitely a partition. You will most certainly see more availability in certain areas than we will here.

As to week 2 v week 4. I doubt there is much difference in trade value.
