I don't think it is naive to post on the boards here. The vast majority will be glad to help you in anyway that they can. It will be the best way to learn.

I would echo this. On THIS board, everybody is very friendly. There is no such thing as a stupid question. They've all been asked before. The only things forumites here will not tolerate are deception and scam artists. All others are welcome.
