I would be very careful with this one.

Consolidated is the name of the timeshare developer for Club De Soliel, Tahiti and Tahiti Village in Vegas. They were one of the worst tours we've been on for stretching the truth. It's one of the few tours we went on where they tried to sell us a timeshare based on tax breaks and as an investment as rental property.

I would say that you have to be fair and allow all free listings, whether you like their advertisers or not. But there is nothing that says, if it's an upfront fee company, that you can't warn against using them. I am a big "free speech" advocate, in case you didn't already figure that out.

I left it when I caught it this morning....
Doesn't mean I was right to do so but I thought it was debatable.

Looks like they're offering free listings for a limited time, sure, they need to populate their bank.

            No Commissions
For the Seller to receive close to what was paid for the Timeshare, there is no room for a huge commission, or any commission for that matter. For the Buyer, no commissions means money saved.
            No Appraisals
Appraisals are not needed to sell a Timeshare. Of course the Buyer does not want to overpay for a vacation and the Seller doesn't want to be undersold. Differences in the price range from one to the next depending upon location, amenities, exchange season, and unit size. The Buyer knows what the resort is selling. The Seller knows what they paid.
            No Hidden Cost
With commissions and appraisals ruled out, the only out of pocket expense from the Buyer, aside from the Purchase price, is closing cost. .
... not enough time for all the timeshares ®

I would leave it if it is a free listing. I'm sure if it is not legit someone will catch on and let us know.

                Seems to be illegitimate

Just FYI this was posted elsewhere:

"My family has about 40 properties we are trying to manage. I started working on a website and if anyone wants to contribute its at http://consolidatedtimeshare.com"

so it seems to be a potential scam looking for hits. The stories change according to the site.

That message has since been deleted as advertising.
