I thought so too, but I couldn't find it. What I thought I would also do is once completed with comments; I would put it in the keyword section of the database so if someone wanted to search the database for pet friendly, they would all come up.

Great! I know that Four Seasons Aviara allows pets, there is some confusion as to whether they limit the size to small dogs under 25 lbs, some have reported larger dog sightings...

Thanks for doing this Jeri. I don't think I'd ever take my "big mouth" dogs with me, but it's nice to have the information if we ever get quieter ones.

Completed, tried calling them to see the exact policy, but went to vm.

I am trying to confirm each resort as I go along, so it does take some time if it is not listed on the resorts website.
So, if anyone knows for sure, I would appreciate which resorts are definitely pet friendly.

Okay..Los Abrigados is done..I called Four Seasons Aviara. Here are the rules for them:

Aviara: Dogs up to 55 lbs for owners and exchangers. This weight may by combined up to 2 dogs. So 1 big dog or 2 small. There is a fee of $100/per bedroom. So if you have a 2 bedroom the fee is $200.00

Scottsdale: Same rules as above except the fee is $150/bedroom.

I've taken my dog (50 lb) to several Silverleaf resorts. They have no size limit. They do charge a non-refundable $55 fee.

I just contacted Rancho Ruidoso in New Mexico to inquire about their policy and they responded that the only rule is to keep the dog on a leash. They didn't mention any additional fees.

I always pack a copy of the dog's most current vaccination certificate just in case they need it at check in. So far I've never been asked to show it.
