  • Who is emidsouthinc.?

They have had two PAHIO listings and both have had incorrect information. Maintenance fees were quoted way too low, plus they are saying that RCI points will transfer with the sale, which they don't.

Seems they are a charity? Is this the same as Trejesto? The listing is very familiar for the Shearwater that just closed. Looks very much like the Shearwater that "sold" a few months ago. Same wrong info, but Trejesto was the name on that one.

I think someone is playing some wicked games here. I am not impressed.

Maybe they're swamped and not doing enough legwork. But all in all they are a good bunch. They are not charity but market for several charities.
... not enough time for all the timeshares ®

I will forward this to someone who will know what you need to know, and let them address it.

        Hi,

I have purchased a timeshare from them off Ebay a couple years ago, and used them for closing on a timeshare I sold last year. They are great to work with, and they communicate very well.

        Hope this helps,

        Tim

I agree with Zamboniii. Bought from them and used the closing service for my Ebay purchase. Very good folks who correct mistakes.

I have purchased a couple of units from them in the past. They may not have all the details correct, but will verify them if you point out errors. Donate@trejesto.com, who posted on the Timeshare Donation Dirty Little Secrets thread used to sell for them. I do not know if the organization she is now working for has a relationship with eMidsouth.

I think the point should be that there are too many errors, customers shouldn't have to be their quality control. That's not good customer service.

They withdrew the PAHIO @ Bali Hai listing, which was a Points sale. RCI Points don't transfer in the sale of any PAHIO resale. Just another way that PAHIO reduces the value of their product. Poor suckers who bought from the developer based on the value of points. They can't even pass the points onto their children without having to pay about $3K for the transfer.

Trejesto listed a Shearwater unit a few months ago, and it was an EOY even unit. The maintenance fees were quoted at under $1,000 for the week, but the 2007 fees for the week were over $1,100. I told them the fees were too low, way too low. How do you think a buyer would feel when they get their maintenance fees of $1,181 this year? I knew it would go up, but it leaps up more than $100 every year. She didn't care that the fees that quoted were low, she said it was the only info she had. Whatever.

The Shearwater listing of a few weeks ago was practically identical. Same fees quoted, too. Someone is in for a shock. I would ask to pay the fees for the usage for 2008 as quoted. Then maybe they would re-think and at least quote the odd year fees next time.

                  eMidsouth

Just so you know Trejesto has nothing to do with eMidsouth Inc The owners of that company did work for eMidsouth but has been gone for 2 + years.
The eBay user name they use was eMidsouth so they do get mixed sometimes. If you look at the history of that name you will see it.
                  Regards,
                  Larry

                    Wow! What a timely response!

Or am I the only one who is now in 2009?

However, that's the way I understand it too. Pretty much.
