So it seems that, as expected, Bluebeards Castle HOA & Wyndham have come to an agreement regarding the resort future and moneys due. Neither side "won" but I must say the HOA did VERY well - congratulations are in order.
I find it interesting that there was all sorts of post blasting Wyndham as "thugs", "thieves" and more when the two were fighting yet now that they (finally) are putting aside their differences and working to make the resort better we see nothing. Could it be that Wyndham has, as expected, stepped up and done their part yet that isn't being acknowledged by those that want to tar & feather them at every opportunity? Overall I'd say this was a fair deal for the BB owners, hard fought but fair, and it wouldn't have happened if Wyndham hadn't bought in and now paid far more than any other group is likely to have offered. A win - win for the protagonists.
Thank you Wyndham for living up to your obligations even if they weren't expected when you bought in. A double thanks to the HOA Board who certainly fought as hard as they could for what they saw as the right outcome. Now whip that resort back into shape and lets all enjoy a great place to visit in a few years when things are back up to snuff. I'm extremely happy that both sides finally agreed to move ahead and stop a fight that everyone was losing.
