Ya know I paid my taxes-- but shouldn't I have gotten something to show the IRS that I paid them.... I got nothing-- and it would seem to me that I should be able to write off something for the timeshare????

If you paid the taxes for your timeshare ~~ you should have the invoice when you received your resort fees ~~ you can use the tax portion of the invoice to claim you tax write-off for the year which they were paid ~~ make sure you keep the invoice & the method of payment for your tax records ~~ you won't receive anything from the IRS or your resort statin you paid the taxes ~~ only the invoice or maintenance fee includin your tax (seperate line) or anything else (seperate line) on the invoice will be sufficient ~~
