I just bought a timeshare for 10,000 that I could have got for as much as half. It wasn't a terrible deal but not a great one either. I broke my own rules...Never buy without doing your homework. I would not have bought it last night if I had studied. I just found out about a 72 hour right of recension. Does anybody know about that?

If you have time left, read the instructions carefully and follow them exactly. Do not send by FedEx if it says to send by USPS, for instance. It most likely has to be in writing too. You can FAX them too but you have to follow up with a letter. Send it by certified mail with a return receipt so you have proof that you sent it.

If you are too late, don't beat yourself over the head but try to enjoy your resort and learn how to make exchanges to other nice places, if that is what you were planning to do. Most people learn the hard way and find this forum afterwards but learn here how to make the best of it.

Yes, it WAS a terrible deal....the ads I posted are ASKING prices....go to ebay and do an 'advanced search' for completed auctions.....I am sure these go for under $1,000.

Do I have to follow a certain procedure outlined by Massanutten or can I follow a simple formula. Oh yeah, do you think I go t a decent deal?

You have to follow the exact directions - please take the time to read your paperwork....it usually involves notiying them by mail - it will tell you HOW to mail and if it says registered mail - do that exactly....

No, u did not get a good deal ...sorry
BUT it could be MUCH worse...as in you did it 2 weeks ago instead of 2 days ago.....

And I LOVE TSing - I own ....well, TOO many weeks/points

You better read the whole contract and the fine print too. It is in there somewhere.
