    I am still searching for reliable school calendars for WV, SD, RI

    JFYI these were the 2007 exact dates. I expect similar timeframes give or take going forward. ie NY schools last day of school is 26JUN08

    This is a good general guide for most public schools. The DW is a teacher at a private school with a different schedule. Lots of private or charter schools in MN even more in the Twin Cities. They are not always following the public school schedule. Wife's school gets out a week or more later and starts about two weeks earlier than the public schools, I think.

    Also, because some schools need to close for snow days, I think (not positive) they make up at the end of the year.
