Which is your favorite Grand Mayan/Mayan Palace and why????

I was wondering for those of you who own or have traded your experiences at different properites with Mayan Palace or Grand Mayan.
Thanks!!!!! I am trying to plan a trip for 2007 and am wondering where to go??? WE love the one in Puerto Penasco b/c we can drive there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Toss up,
Between NV and Rivera Maya, The service at NV was the best out of the 3 resorts that I went to. Pool wise Rivera Maya is assume. I just came back from Acapulco and felt that the the pool was better at RM and NV. The service at Rivera Maya came in last place.

So for Pool its close but IMO RM was the nicest. NV 2nd and Acapulco 3rd but just because I put it 3rd do not count it out. The staff was helpful and the area has some nice sights.

Food wise NV was best, RM 2nd and Acapulco a far 3rd.

Service NV was best, Acapulco 2nd RM a far last.

Keep in mind that the new Cabo MP will be open in 2007 but you can not trade for it yet.

Thqnks for all fo the great info! i appreciate it. I would like to go to Riveria Maya. We love PV but stay at our WEstin timeshare and hang at the Grand mayan for the day. WE love the location at the WEstin!!!! Do you know anything about the Grand Mayan in Cabo?? I heard it will open in November of '06 and be located in SAn Jose del Cabo and will only be a Grand Mayan not a Mayan Palace or Sea Garden. Do you have any other information. I can't waitto go there. WE looooooooooooooove cabo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to go to Lenny's Deli, The Orignal Trailer Park and The Office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have heard Dec of 06 for the opening date. I also heard Feb 07 as the opening date. Since by chance I just spoke to one of the closers at the Cabo resort last week in the Mexico city airport. I would now more than likely have to say it will be open by Dec 06.
