2 Bedroom Lock Out

hello,

My boyfriend and I recently purchased a two bedroom lock out at Cranberry Resort in Collingwood, ON Canada

We have not yet received our membership cards for II so we haven't had a chance to go on and check out all the exchange possiblities.

My question is how to tell what * rating they have given our resort? it is a four season resort and we were sold on the attraction that this holds.

Is it the Cranberry Harbour Castle & Country Club ? If so, it has the highest rating of "premier" in II.

It is the Cranberry Harbour Castle and Country club. Does having a premier rating have any bearing on whether or not you get a wide variety of exchanges?

we have many questions as no one we know owns a time share. I guess once we get our access to the II website we might get the hang of all of this. I am certainly glad I came upon this site because I am slowly becoming more educated by reading through past posts

II works on a "like = like" system. They tend to match timeshares that they consider fairly equal in demand, size, and quality, to each other.

The season that you own in, the actual week that you deposit, and the size of the unit will all play a part in your exchange power.

Once you receive your membership from II, you can search the availabilities on the II website, using your unit. That will give you an idea of what your trading power will be.

Also, once you have 30 posts on this site, or make a donation to the site, you will be able to see our exchange opportunities. Each day we list various sightings available through II, RCI, DAE, Trading Places, Platinum Interchange, HTSE, and others.

Congratulations! Collingwood is a beautiful area. You might want to post this message on the Canada board as well. There might be some owners who check that forum.
