    Will check it out

I am new to this and will pick up a copy tomorrow.

I noticed you are very familiar with this industry. I just purchased (still less than 5 days ago) a time share with Coral Resorts in Hilton Head.
    1. 106,500 RCI points annually
    2. 3BR
    3. Developer's Week (one week ea yr - no point deduction)
    4. Golf and sports package - cart fees only. 4 rounds a day all year

All for $41,000. Did I get ripped off? I know resale market is cheaper, but I am in no way an expert and felt uncomfortable with what I was getting in that market.

You found us, and you probably found us in time. Right now, this minute, review your paperwork and rescind your purchase in accordance with your purchase agreement. The deal from Coral will always be there tomorrow and in a few months of reading this site and asking questions you will be comfortable with a resale purchase and you'll be about $40K richer.

I agree with Spence...rescind right now and put it in the mail tomorrow. Make sure you read the instructions carefully and follow them to a tee.

          RDMartin,

          Welcome to TS4M's

Listen to Spence, and jeicap, and immediately rescind! You are fortunate that you found us in time.

          Spence,

Congrats on the photos. I'll have to check them out.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Please rescind your purchase. You paid way too much and after you hang around here and read as much as you can you can find a much better deal. If you nothing that suits you after six months of following the market and reading the info found here, then that deal will certainly still be there.

Do resale TM's come with the same perks? When we do travel, we like to stay and really nice places so I would need a TS that has some value to exchange and enough points to exchange with.

What went wrong here and why do so many people buy from developers?

By the way, I am rescinding this tomorrow and thanks for your help. The TS's I saw on the secondary market in Hilton Head were cheaper, but did not match up with the points and extras I received.

Glad you are taking the advice and rescinding. Do not be in a hurry to purchase. They are very easy to buy and very difficult to sell. An educated resale purchase will always serve you best.
