      Still not even remotely debatable.
Even if the deed does not specifically reference the condo association documents, you are subject to the recorded Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions, and any other controlling condos documents filed of record.

Let them sue me. I will defend myself , put in a countercomplaint , subpoena the entire BOD and voidere the jury myself. Could be fun. I don't live to far away and I always wanted to be a lawyer. If I lose I'll pay the back MFs which I would have to do anyway, If I don't bail.

So what was the purpose of this thread anyway? To get validation for what you intended to do anyway? Sorry...

I don't like the direction our government is taking. All they are doing is running up a bigger debt funding things I don't believe in. Should I just stop paying my taxes? According to your rationale I should.

Isn't that more or less how this country got it's start ?

Are you trying to present your case here as test run to see if you have any chance on the court? No matter what we feel, the final result is irrelavent to if you can won or not. Otherwise, I do believe a lot of people will not paying tax. Also, it will always be uphill battle to prove someone that operates the resort wrongful. A lot of what you say will just be your feeling.

But good luck on that approach.

Not paying taxes is illegal(criminally). What I suggest is not(might be part of a civil action). Not equivalent..

I don't see it the same way as you do, OP.

Rescinding is like an annulling a marriage: set it back to a state of "it never happened."

NOT the same as bailing on something you already own. That is going back on a committment.

I understand your point but I thought a marriage was a commitment. Maybe nowadays it’s different.

It sure is- since 50% of marriages end in divorce.

I just served on a federal jury where the defendant defended himself. He did himself no favor. You know the saying :"Only a fool......." He proved it.

From what I have been reading here, I have a feeling that idea will be repeated.

When I've defended myself, I won twice and ended up settling the other time.
