Which EBay category to list TS rental?

I have a TS week 27 Sep - 4 Oct 2008 that the resort told me I cannot deposit to an exchange company because it is using an internally banked 2007 week.

I lowered the asking price on several websites including TS4MS. I figure I have little to lose by listing it on EBay.

What category do most people list TS rentals on EBay?

Travel>Lodging
or something else

I noticed most TS ads I find are in Real Estate

eBay ? Lodging and items on eBay.com. Find IT on eBay.

It must be listed on eBay Travel and you must be Square Trade Travel approved. The approval process takes about 24-48 hours. YOu need to submit proof of ownership of a timeshare. Square Trade Travel is $7.50/month. You can cancel or renew it at any time.

I believe that is the correct category, you need to go through eBay's policy regarding squre trade and certified yourself as one.

Also, if you have not done this, you may want to put in tug's last min rental

I created the ad 27 Sep-4 Oct Puerto Vallarta Sheraton Buganvilias - eBay (item 150288883570 end time Sep-05-08 10:38:01 PDT)

but do not recall obtaining Square Trade Approval before. I received emails in the past telling me I qualify for an EBay store but never set one up. Does the EBay positive feedback number make a difference?

If not, perhaps I should find the page to get the Square Trade Approval.

Also, on proof of ownership. We have not changed all the titles for my husband's timeshares. Some list my husband & his late wife, some my husband only when he upgraded before meeting me, and some have my husband & myself on the title. Does this mean I need to create a new EBay ID for my husband to list TS in his name only?

I'm surprised it even successfully listed. Since you are not Square Trade Travel authorized, your auction may get cancelled at the end. I would sign up now and when you get your cert number, add it to your auction.

I have listed rentals, and they have always asked me to add my square trader number, which I do not have. I simply typed in square trader verified in the description and it always lists my auctions. I have never paid 7.50
