    Yassou,

There is a wonderful magazine "Timesharing Today" the address on the web is Timeshare Reviews, Buy Timeshares, Sell Timeshares, Timeshare owners, Timeshare Magazine, Timesharing Today. You can subscribe to the magazine and receive it via post or you may subscribe and read on line. Another resource is The Timeshare Beat: A Timeshare News and Travel Magazine. You will find lots of information to read.

I think you own a week 33 and 34 at Porto Hydra; Porto Hydra exchanges only through RCI. It is not affiliated with Interval World. Of course you can deposit with one of the smaller independent exchange companies; Dial and Exchange is a good one. I know they will take Greek timeshare weeks; they took my Village Holiday Club weeks. You may be able to deposit and exchange through Trading Places Trading Places International - Timeshare Rentals, Exchange, Resales, and Travel Services but since I believe you live in Greece this may not be a good alternative. Trading Places has most of their inventory in the continental US and the Caribbean, Mexico and Hawaii.

    καλή τύχη

This site and Timeshare Users Group have been very informative for me. Timeshare Users Group - The first and largest online community of timeshare owners providing timeshare resort reviews, timeshare ratings and timeshare advice (Thanks Frank and Ken for this site)

Tug has a bunch of info on buying selling and trading. Many of the authors on these articles are also active here like Steve Nelson who is very bright on timeshare. Look here and at the articles on TUG and you will have amazing resources. Redweek, Ebay and Bidshares can be used as guides as what various resorts are available as resales and rentals. Take your time learn and enjoy.

Hello ledigiannis and a belated welcome to TS4Ms

Both joy and barbeque give sources for more information, other than the internet or here.

I understand that you own at your resort for quite some time from your previous posts here. It sounds like you have been happy with your trades and happy with your home resort.

What makes you angry at this time?

Many have purchased at a high price from the resort/developer and have learned to make the best and have many wonderful vacations.

If you purchased additional time recently you may be in a time where you can rescind that purchase.

No you are not restricted to RCI.

I truly loved my vacation to your country and hope to stay there again. someday

          I feel a bit unsure.

You are not restricted to RCI and we have serval Independent Exchange Companies represented here. You can read the forums and ask questions of them here: Timeshare Exchange Companies - Timeshare Forums

In order to be satisfied I think you must focus on where you would like to exchange to.

BTW if you check your thread re: SumVacations they seem to be reputable and quick according to other experienced members.

Try go to tug and search on that seller

Timeshare Users Group Online Community Forums

I believe he has posted some on these thread also.

RCI is an exchange company. It is the biggest in Timeshare. There are other Timeshare exchange comopanies, Interval International, Dia-an-exchange, SFX, Trading Place, Plantimun. Joy has posted them in the 2nd post of this thread. And those big min system backed by developers that also has a lot of internal exchange activities, like Wyndham, Diamond (or Sunterra), Bluegreen, Worldmark, HGVC, and those small mini systems. And the one by management company like VI. Then there are a lot of resellers, some are working under the law, some maybe on the border.

Make sure you monitor the process, I would think it is not US property, so the deed transfer maybe slow.

If you are upset because the expensive pieces you bought, don't be, Timeshare is remote places in people's daily live. And the resale is much much unknow to most of the world. So, it is very hard to gather buyer around the world that may interesting in TS togher, and even if that is possible, it may still be a small population thus not much demand to support any suplly level. Yours is not the only one that loss a lot of values.

If after you read, you don't feel too comfortable, you need to tell him infront and back out. Since eBay listing do cost money, I will suggest you at least pay him the listing money.
