Has anyone used Century 21 or one of their affiliates to sell a timeshare? Do they charge an upfront fee?

Once upon a time that was a good name, but now it's just a franchise with little oversight and little to recommend it.

As was said Century 21 is just a franchise. This means that the century 21 in "Fall City" may be a great place to sell your TS but the Century 21 in "Port Charles" may be a rip off. There are many TS resellers who are associated with big reality companies like ERA or GMAC or Century 21. These companies are all independant and some may be good companies to due business with and some may just want your cash.

Just remember "never pay an "up front" fee to sell your TS!!"

        Good Luck

I am pretty sure we purchased one of our units through Century 21 but I hate to think of what the commisions must have been for the seller... I also know when we were looking that not all Century 21 offices will sell timeshares because of the limited funds they make out of the deal.

As suggested above, it doesn't hurt to look into it but I sure would want to look at all the details before you sign the dotted line. There are other places where you can list a unit for sale for a whole lot less but it is a shame that we don't seem to see units selling so quick there...

There are similar pages at Tug and many other sites... ours are free and if life ever stops for me again, the classifieds here are due for an upgrade..
