Need Another 2009 Week

Hi,

I may be in the market for another 2009 vacation but I will not have any weeks to use. As it turns out, I have 2 weeks to trade but in order to be able to take advantage of the bonus weeks with SFX (due to my own schedule), I am thinking of using both of those weeks in 2010.

I currently have 1 request in with SFX for a November 2009 week and am going to my home resort in August 2009. I am thinking about another week in November or sometime in April - July.

I know that some companies, SFX, and RCI offer discounted weeks to purchase without having a week to exchange. Is this the way to go? Or, if someone is not using their bonus week / exchange week, are they permitted to "sell" it to someone else who can then make their own requests with whichever company has it?

Please let me know if you have any other ideas...

I have had success using VRBO to rent great places.

RCI has Extra Vacations and Last Call Vacations.

SFX has a a Sell-Off List.

HTSE has rentals and last minute specials.

TPI has rentals and Hot Deals.

Platinum Interchange has Hot Weeks and Hot Nights.

DAE has Bonus/Rentals.

If you want to pay to join Redweek, I have also used them successfully to rent.
