I can't imagine play football outdoors in this weather. I wonder if any games are scheduled for outside in the New York area? Green Bay plays the Bears tomorrow night in Chicago.

I was going to snowblow the drifts on the sidewalks and driveway but decoded the snow wasn't going go anywhere.

I sure am glad outhouses are a thing of the past.

I just got back from doing the snow blowing at my house, then going to my rental duplex and doing the driveway and sidewalks there. It is so cold that when I tried to use the SUV remote for the doors, it wouldn't work, the battery chilled and wouldn't function. So...I have just finished blowing 5" of snow at -2 deg with a minus 20 windchill and I can't get the doors open to the SUV. I had to go into the basement of the rental unit to warm me and the remote. After enough warming time, I was able to get in the car and get home to some heat.

Looks like the winter ahead is going to be interesting. I am glad the price of gas/oil is down so that those on fixed incomes and others that are without jobs, but have a reserve of money will be able to pay the bill. When I see people who are cold and hungry my heart breaks.

With 2 places (2 driveways, 2 sidewalks, 2 piles at the end of the driveway from the snowplow) without a snow blower, I would be on my third heart attack...and I haven't had my first yet.

I got hit with a cold Dec 13, and pretty much have cleared it, well, mostly. I am not going to stand out and fly a kite, not even with the winter carnival when they do the 'frozen fingers kite fly'. My next kite fly will be where it all started, Myrtle Beach SC in March.

We are in Charlotte, NC and our temperature really started falling when we got out of church this morning. But we don't have any thing forecast like you have. In three weeks from tomorrow we have ten days at some of our Bluegreen Florida resorts........and we can't wait
