I got hit for apx $100 for updating rooms at HIghlands of Sugar. They have had a couple other assessments over the recent years. shaggy

The Coconut Beach Resort in Key West Florida

recently had a special assessment of $745.00 for a two bedroom lockout.

I believe the Marriott Aruba Ocean Club resort has a special assessment that is divided into two payments due in 2009 and 2010. According to the estimated maint. fees on the marriott website, the 2009 SA is $639 for a 2 BR and $492 for a 1 BR. Supposedly this is to cover a roof replacement.

Colonial Acres in Cape Code

I was hit with a whoppping $138 SA for my 2BR cottage which i was told was to cover projected budget shortfalls for 2009 and 2010. No increase in maintenance fees for 2009 (actually no increases for the past few years if I remember correctly).
