    What do you think of the Wall Street annocement yesterday that Cendant bought out

    Bluegreen yesterday?

    I guess I will find out more today at our Christmas Mountain (Bluegreen) HOA meetings in Wisconsin Dells that I am driving up to attend in 8 hours.

    I will post what I find out at the HOA meeting.

        Frank, I know it is not you in the picture below as the picture is not wide enought. It would need to be at least 2 ax handles wide to be a picture of you.

              My favorite part of the article was the anti-trust regulator's stipulation that every weeks owner must convert their weeks into points and submit a written affidavit that they indeed like it.

                I somehow missed that. Maybe we Bluegreen owners should start some type of class action suite to get this deal recinded as it sounds like it would be against the law to have to sign something like that.

                If Cendant wants us to do that then we Bluegreen owners ought band together and legally go after those no good @#^*)__))%^#%^%&*&*&*() at Cendant for trying to force us to sign a affidavit worded like that.

                  The period of rescission has passed for most. They put those terms and conditions in the 2005 rules. I just read the 2006 terms and conditions and it specifically states that all RCI members must transfer all personal assets to Cendant by the end of 2006 so that they know which houses to include in their new and improved Extra Vacations program. So now, when you deposit your 2006 week, you are also depositing your home as well.

                      RCI is getting to big and manages too many of the timeshares it is supposed to exchange. I think the time has come to put some restrictions on the travel monopolizing monster that they have created.

                        The fishing today has been pretty good today as I have caught a number of suckers in 2 differant places.

                        Oh by the way today is indeed April 1.

                          Bruce, is it an April fool's day joke or is it true? I tried to find the news in Cendant as well as in Bluegreen's web page last night and couldn't find it. Where is the link or you fooled us pretty well.

                          I hope for Bluegreen members that it is a joke!
