  • Looking to rent in Mexico for Oct/Nov/Dec

I am looking to rent a timeshare from redweek.com in the late part of this year. Does anyone have some recommendations for which one I should try to go to? I have not been to the PDC area and that is where I would like to stay so your feedback and experience would be appreciated.

    thanks
    Philip

Oct, Nov, Dec is the lowest season for toursism in Mexico. They are starving in Mexico. You can literally steal a week in Mexico at a prime resort for a few hundred dollards. I would explore other options unless you get an excellent deal on redweek.

Well, it is low, but September is the real dog for Mexico. October begins an upward trend towards the end of the month. Rentals should be easy, plentiful and cheap this year.

I checked on Interval Internationals getaways and there is plenty of inventory at Paradise Village all through oct and Nov for reasonable prices.

          On the Rivera Maya,

There are many resorts close to or in Playa Del Carmen. Our favorite is the Grand Mayan, or the Mayan Palace.
Great suites, one of the best pool complexes in the world, lots of choice in restaurants, a short shuttle ride to Playa Del Carmen.
Depending upon what size unit you are looking for, there are normally suites open during the fall.
If you are interested in the All Inclusive resorts, I would try priceline, Hotwire, or something similar.

Do you have access to one of the major timeshare trade companies like RCI, or II?

RCI has hundreds of extra vacations that run from $179 per week ( plus the AI fee) to $1376 for a 2 bedroom Grand Mayan ( no AI required)

          fwiw,

          Greg

Here is your answer and I can highly recommend this tour operator. They all speak good English and have good equipment and boats, etc. You can take whale watching tours on big fancy boats as well as on small little pangas and very fast ones too. We did that with another company and covered a very wide area and saw a lot. We saw one whale breaching for 40 minutes long! He jumped all the way out of the water non-stop and I have never seen this in Maui yet. It was a single male trying to impress a female or us.

OH MAN!!!! That's tremendous! They certainly did know where to go to find the whales.

                  Thank you for the referral!
