That's part of the cost of SFX. If a resort doesn't meet a specific criteria or there's not enough demand for it, then they don't accept it. It's what keeps their them in their nitch market. Unfortunately, this is bound to upset those not allowed to join.

I am not upset....I was actually amused by their response....No call to see if I own any other ts, which I do....I know that the unit I listed on their application is not a great trader...Funny thing is that I was told by SFX this same unit qualified for a 2 for 1 bonus a couple years ago but I chose not to join and joined II instead...( I got a 2 br Marriott with this same week with II last year)
I am just amazed that with the economy the way it is and vacation travel down, SFX did not want a new customer...

There are a lot of things businesses are doing right now that amaze me. Like being told by a rental car agent that the reason for the higher prices I'm seeing are, in part, due to the fact they're not renting as many cars. Thus they have to increase the price to make the same profit.

At the same time I complained about the condition of the car we were given and made comment I was surprised they still had a car with almost 35,000 miles on it. They told me the sale barn wasn't selling them and returning them to the lot.

Let's see, higher prices, not getting rid of older cars, cars in not so good of conditions. Yep, that will increase or maintain profits.

I would've also found it amusing if, just a year to two ago they offered you a 2/4/1 bonus for the same week they're now declining. Maybe that 2/4/1 offer was a lot like those "guarenteed" acceptance credit applications that weren't really guarenteed once they took a look at you're credit record.
