  • Pacific monarch resorts any info?

I recently was contacted by people from the Pacific Monarch Resorts, they own timeshare resorts in Cabo, Tahoe, Las Vegas, CA. and some other places.

Do any of you have any information/stories good or bad etc about this company and their resorts?
I would really truelly appreciate any information at all that the members could provide for me. I am interested in how they treat their customers, employees, what their timeshares are like, costs of memberships etc. I have owned timeshares with other companys in the past some good some bad some just plain awful. It would be a great help to me if someone here would gvie me the 411 on this company any stories or info at all will be appeciated.

    Monarch Grand Vacations

Like any timeshare program, the value lies in the usage. This developer has some INCREDIBLE resorts (Cabo Azul). You can get some good deals on resale, but deal with a broker that knows the property.

I can give you a few referrals if you need them.

You can buy their intervals dirt cheap on ebay and on the many private listings. The developers pitch some serious heat and generally treat their employees and customers like dirt during the sales process. At least that is how it used to be...not sure about the last couple of years.

I used to own points at Palm Canyon and got them cheap via resale years and years ago. I sold them long ago as well. The customer service people were fairly competent and nice. Palm Canyon needed a good refurbishment as it was well worn last time we stayed around 2004. Not sure if it was done or not.

Avoid eBay unless you really research the program and are confident you know it very well. Many sellers don't realize that some ownerships can only be used at the home resort. I see "annual" ownerships advertised all the time- and to my knowlege all the MNG ownerships are biennial.

        Be careful...
