  • Anyone has ever bought from buyatimeshare.com?

I just want to know if anyone has ever bought a TS from buyatimeshare.com.

They have a listing I'm interested in. What closing company do they use?

Thanks everyone. Your insights are very much appreciated.

If you are paying the closing costs, you traditionally will have the right to choose the closing agent. If the selling agent (or seller) won't agree to your choice, reconsider the purchase...

Timeshare Title, Inc has a link on their site, and Steve's company is one I show on my recommended list for a number of resorts- so should be a good choice. I spoke with a rep at this closing company and was told they haven't received any business from the website yet- so perhaps there just haven't been many sales to date....

This is a website that is relatively new and not one I've done business with in the past. I at first thought that it was simply another disguised SMTN site (especially with the NH and FL addresses)- but they denied it and actually stated they thought it was a new competitor that has tried to set up a copy of their business model.

In the past, I've tried calling as a brokerage for inventory to see who they connected me with- but they simply passed me to another company voicemail called Timeshare Cash Out (which is simply a lead generation marketer that sells timeshare related lists.. They have a number of info fill pages to collect data, which they then sell as lists. If you've advertised on Craigslist and gotten the spam email telling you "these people helped me sell my timeshare fast", you've probably gotten to one of their info fills..).

    I didn't get a call back...

Because the site is relatively new, I'd just recommend you be a little hesitant and be extremely careful. Insist on a closing agent you are comfortable with- and demand a copy of the estoppels before sending in final funds. If you ever actually get to speak with someone who has a real estate license- let me know!

    Good luck!
