  • How many weeks do you own?

Just curious about how many timeshare weeks you own.

I own 3 fixed weeks every year use.
I own 1 Points resort bienniel week
    1 own a DVC contract 1 week.

So I guess technically I own 4-1/3 weeks in total.

    How about you?

        Timeshare Weeks

        13 Floating Weeks (10 weeks in 3 bedroom/ 3 weeks in 2 bedroom)
        3 RCI Points Floating Weeks
        2 Fixed Weeks
        6000 Worldmark Points

I just sold a Hawaii week today and may sell a few more as it is difficult to use them all.

Four and a half, but am in escrow to buy a fixed annual trader for RCI. That will make 5 1/2. Definitely more than I can use.

We used to own 5 EY weeks, all fixed weeks (dual affiliated except 2)...
got rid of the 2 who were RCI exclusive and now down to 3....We also own an EOY, which we usually trade or give to a friend/family for use...

Of the fixed EY, we personally use 2 out of the 3 and rarely trade them...the 3d one we have never stayed in and only use for trading.

                  14 fixed/deeded weeks

                  2 Wyndham Points packages

3 RCI Points Packages (177,000 total)--two of them are used to reserve the underlying fixed 2 bdrm lock-out unit every year to give us 5 February-March weeks at the same resort in Ft. Lauderdale where we own 3 deeded weeks (our "snowbird getaway")

That's 19 maintenance fees to pay every December while we live on rice and beans and attend a lot of holiday parties

                          Addiction

I had gotten down to six (2 Panama City Beach, 1 New Smyrna Beach, 1 Dik, 2 Aussie) but got tired of having to work around the 1-in-4 Grand Pacific Resorts rule, so recently purchased a EOY at Seapointe for 1$ on e-bay.
I needed another maintenance fee like another hole in the head, but what the heck.

Since I own Bluegreen points, and that isn't always a one to one relationship, I would say I have about 4 weeks, depending on where I use the points.

My problem is that I have three weeks PTO and 4 weeks timeshare. I use 2 weeks for vacation, and 1 week for stockmarket training. I am left with 2 extra weeks of timeshare that I am not making full use of the time. This year, rental isn't doing well for me, so now what?
