  • Fond memory of a special person or event at a TS?

When we were at the Club Donatello a few years ago, we were there during Thanksgiving week. We had a lovely Phillipine housekeeper who came by every day and took care of our unit, and was always so pleasant to us. Each day we left her a tip and a goodie.

On Thanksgiving day we went out for a walk thru Union Square in the morning, and came back to the unit in early afternoon. When we walked into the unit, first thing we saw was a beautiful cake, made with pinapple and icing, and little pieces of fruit, and with it was a note from our housekeeper that she made it just for us to wish us a beautiful holiday.

This was so nice, and we felt honored that she did this for us.

This is just one of the many memories of people we have met in a TS who left us with smiles on our faces and a warm feeling.

Do you have similar experiences or memories that you look back on and find yourself smiling?
Life is short, live it with this awareness.

i have too many fond memories of my timeshare vacations to name just one or two......each vacation brought memories, funny, happy, different, new friends, etc., etc.

They all bring a smile to my face......i think the ones that really touch my heart are the ones where the kids were little......

Feb 2002. At Cypress Palm. my daughter say her 1st word and be able to turn.

Make me very happy, although she did not speak any word for another few months, and did not say "pa" for much longer.

Come back to home, found we have a big snow storm while we traveled.

I learned to fly stunt kites in Myrtle Beach, I now own over a dozen kites, single line, two line stunt and 4 line precision stunt kites. I have designed and sewn my own kite.

We came back from a spring break at a nice warm location TS and could not get into the driveway because 10 inches of snow fell while we were away. I can’t do anything until I pull out the snow blower and clear the driveway.

Thanks to Lawren's broken leg last summer I was able to travel with my parents to Bermuda - my parents had honeymooned at Elbow Beach Hotel 55 years before so it was wonderful to go and bring back those memories for them. My mother died suddenly this past March so that trip and the family trip (all 16 of us) to Marriott Fairway Villas for the New Year Holiday this year are memories I will treasure forever.

I have been TSing for 8 years and in that time, my parents made over 10 TS trips and my kids have been to the US and Europe and the Caribbean as well.....it opened up a whole new world of travel for all of us - my brother and sister now also own TSs - and are enjoying the traveling life, to!
