  • How many timeshare vacations have you taken?

We have been TS'ng since 1986....to try to count how many we have taken would be to do a best-guess....during that time, counting exchanges, multiple weeks back to back, and also counting use of bonus weeks, as well as using our own weeks at our home resorts, we have enjoyed over 125 vacation weeks....how about you?
Life is short, live it with this awareness.

    We've only just begun...

    One week at home resort(2008)
    One get-getaway(2009)

Our first exchange week is next week.

      Dawn, have fun next week!

      ~45-50 weeks, mostly exchanges
      ~15-20 short stays through Wyndham

If and when the RCI site ever comes back up , I'll look at the latest control number!

That number includes some useless one-plus-one weeks they stuck in the account that expired without being taken - but other than that, it represents the number of weeks banked with RCI.

Edited to add: OK, it finally loaded, took awhile! My last control # is 138 - so since that doesn't include a few Extra Vacations we've booked nor bonus time at a home resort, it's at least more than half that number! We got started in 1997/1998, making up for lost time!

JLB is still counting and I may be too busy getting ready for next week's trip to come up with a count by then.

              How Many?!?

I could not begin to remember them all. We do so many each year that I have a tracking folder which I use to make sure that we remember where and when to go.

We now think about 140 exchanges since 1989.

Our last deposit is 108, & we have 109, 110, & 111 to do when the site is working again.

I guess we have done 106 exchanges, plus somewhere close to a dozen other weekly stays, comps and BVs and stuff.

For several years we did five weeks a year, pretty much the same five to the same places.

Plus we have rented out a couple dozen owned weeks. We have never rented for something to stay in.

I can't remember either. I bought my first timeshare in 1973, and probably started trading some time after that (we bought the first one mostly for use there).

                      More than you.
... not enough time for all the timeshares ®

Bless him, that is literally what happened to Ray Harper, and their 26 weeks a year . . . he could not keep track of them any more.

When you get old I guess it is best to have just one place to stay, to have to remember.

Guess that's why more young guys have mistresses, cuz old guys can't remember good enough to have em. You know . . . Who? Where? When? Why?

As to exchanges, way more than I ever expected when we purchased in 2000.
I sure didn't foresee what a big part of my life t/s's would become. We have probably averaged 4 a year, so have a long way to go to catch up with many of you.
I also would hate to have to count how many timeshare holidays I have had to cancel.
