It's just impossible to exchange in Interval International!!

Despite depositing my week to II well in advance of planned vacations (up to TWO years in advance), I'm NEVER able to get the resort of my choice.... when I call the representatives at II, THEY are unable to book vacations for me either.

Deposit 1-2 years in advance of requesting Disney Old Key West Resort or Kailua-Kona in the Feb-June time period.

If the OP is still reading, I have a couple questions....

1. How far in advance of the check-in date of your deposit did you make the deposit? Your post indicates that you're searching well in advance and that's good. But if you're making a last minute deposit of your week, its trade power will be terrible.

2. Have you placed an ongoing search request? If you are trying to confirm tough trades online or by cold calls, hoping to snag a week that's just sitting there available, it won't happen. You need an ongoing search, whether "search first" or "deposit first."

It's already been mentioned that Disney's resorts are no longer making deposits with II so that's out. Hopefully you've expanded your search request to include multiple resorts in Hawaii and possibly, some great non-Disney resorts in Orlando. HTH.
