I looked at summer for California A couple of the Grand Pacific Resorts (Carlsbad Inn, Carlsbad Seapointe, Grand Pacific Palasides), Mountain Retreat, Tamarack, and others were on the rentals. Maybe it's a combo site (With Properties from Both exchange companies) I looked a little further and along with Costco it mentions The Title from where I looked "Preferred Member Prices Weekly Resort Condo Rentals Book Online"
Looking at the ownership it shows Internet Vacations International from Nevada.
But the Grand Pacific Properties are not Interval International.

Yes, I guess it can be a composite, as Costco has a claim that their travel section is wholly owned by them. But Internet Vacations does show connected to II, thru Icondos I think...not 100% sure on it though.
Just surfing the Costco site, I didn't notice any special deals, did you Barbeque? The wholesale pricing doesn't seem to be any better than say an Expedia??Life is short, live it with this awareness.

The pricing seems to be cheaper than the hotels wuld charge or even what resortime would charge for the Grand Pacific Properties. I didnt know expedia had timeshare properties. This is just another place that timeshares are being marketed to the general population. It may be a way to get around things like restrictions on trade and 1 in 4 year rules. Or to get a property that would be a really tough trade. I think it may be more competition for our trades further diminishing the supply for RCI and II members, and making Extra Vacations and Last Call type programs less available as the exchange companies develop markets for this inventory maximizing revenue for the exchange companies. But at this time I only saw US and Canada Destinations on the Costco website. I did not see any Mexico Carribean or other foreign destinations.

San Clemente Inn starting at $316.29 per night
Now if Costco can get people into the San Clemente Inn for over $300 per night then I am in the wrong profession. I think I will buy all the SCI units I can find and set up a little booth near a Costco.
